Team Swiftune is hard at work preparing two cars for the Goodwood Revival in September where it has enjoyed so much success in recent years.
Jason Stanley and Nick Swift will be battling away in the St Marys Trophy race for pre-1966 saloons which will bring back memories of Oliver Gavin and Nick Swift brilliant victory two years ago in the all Mini Cooper S race – the ultimate historic Mini race win. Stanley will once again team up with Mini legend Rauno Aaltonen who last raced the Mini at Goodwood in 2009 and finished in the runner up spot in the big Mini race.
While Stanley will race his familiar Swiftune-prepared car Nick Swift will be out in a “new” white and black Cooper S which has already been winning races this year. Wins include the all historic FIA Mini race at Pau in May for the French Mini Trophy Classique. Closer to home Swift sped to an impressive 4th overall in the Masters Touring Car race on the Grand Prix circuit at Brands Hatch which followed on from class victories at Snetterton and Oulton Park.
