Both the flywheel and backplate, CNC machined from EN24 steel, are used in all Swiftune competition engines. The flywheel weighs just 2.8kg;1kg less than conventional ultra-light flywheels. Features integral ring gear. and improved strength and rigidity following rigorous testing in motorsport.

For peace of mind at very high revs you need the Swiftune backplate! This gorgeous piece of engineering is less than half the weight of the standard part. The superb strength means it is infinitely safer than the normal cast backplate. Designed for the Swiftune flywheel.
