Jason Plato Confirmed to Drive Second Swiftune Mini at 73rd Members Meeting

Twice BTCC champion Jason Plato will be taking the second driver seat in the newly restored Swiftune powered Jon Mowatt 1275 GT along side Glyn Swift, in the Gerry Marshall trophy. Plato is no stranger to the iconic Goodwood circuit, and this March he will be joining the impressive long list of professional/celebrity drivers in this highly popular race. Plato said “I cant wait to get my bum in the 1275 GT Mini at the Goodwood Members Meeting, Touring Cars in the late 70’s was such an iconic time. It’s going to be great!”

We also are incredibly excited to witness what will hopefully be a mighty race seeing this feisty Mini battle it out against the likes of Chevrolet Camaros, Triumph Dolomites, Rover SD1s and Ford Capris with some of the most successful racing drivers current and past at the wheels including Rob Huff, Anthony Reid, Steve Soper and of course BTCC driver Andrew Jordan who will be Joining Nick Swift in the Swiftune powered Longman 1275 GT Mini replica. The meeting will be on the 21st-22nd March.
