The Donington Historic Festival took place over the long weekend. It was an action packed event but our eyes were firmly set on two HRDC races - the Dunlop Allstars and Jack Sears Trophy. 

Mini Miglia and Mini Se7en duo, Jeff Smith and Jo Polley lined up for both races alongside Chris Edmunds in the ex James Martin car "2BOB".

The Jack Sears Trophy sees the mighty Mini go up against Cortinas, Mustangs and Mk2 Jags, it's no mean feat then that Jeff managed to finish in 3rd overall (1st in class + a fastest lap). Jo can be equally pleased with her 3rd in class (13th overall). It was the first race in the Mini for Chris so 24th place out of a 42 car grid left him a happy man, in his own words "A brilliant result for our first race"

The Dunlop Allstars once again featured the historic Cooper 'S' but this time its opponents took the form of TVR Griffiths, AC Cobras and Lotus Elans. Jeff finished 4th in class (7th overall), Jo came in 7th in class (11th overall) and Chris 13th in class (28th overall).
