34 Mini's confirmed for 2025 Sanwa Trophy

2024 saw the return of the Swiftune presented Pre-66 FIA Mini race at the Brands Hatch Mini Festival since 2016. Last year featured plenty of exciting wheel-to-wheel action across the whole grid and we look forward to welcoming back a full grid of 34 Mini’s for this year’s event.
The Brands Hatch Mini Festival, which has been running since 2012, is the largest mini-celebration Motorsport event in the UK. The 2024 edition featured the Mini Se7en Championship, Mini Miglia and the always popular pre-66 Mini race. Kindly supported by Japanese Mini specialists Sanwa Trading, the Sanwa Trophy featured over 30 FIA App K Mini’s and other derivatives such as the red Wolsey Hornet of Neil McArthur and Nick Paddy's beautiful Mini Van, who will both be returning this year.
2024 racing re-cap
Nathan Heathcote was the winner of race 1 with an impressive drive, Jeff Smith crossed the line in 2nd with Endaf Owens hot on his heels in 3rd, rounding up the podium. Further down the grid Kieran Edgecombe, David Ogden, Stephen Woodrow and Freddie Hunt were having a fantastic race-long battle, with Kieran finishing in 7th. Race 2 saw a close battle between the top 5 cars of Nathan Heathcote, Joe Ferguson, Adam Morgan, Jeff Smith and Phil Bullen-Brown. Ferguson claimed the win from Heathcote in the last few laps and Morgan crossed the line in 3rd.
Happening on the 2nd/3rd August on the Brands Hatch Indy circuit, weekend content also features the always thrilling Mini Miglia and Mini Se7en races. It is definitely a weekend any Mini fan wouldn’t want to miss!
