Podiums a Plenty at Mini7 Season Opener

The Mini7 Racing Club season got underway at Silverstone over the weekend. With some 50+ Minis lined up on the grid for both races, there was plenty of competition and excitement to be had.
Race One
Jeff Smith, Nick Padmore and Andrew Jordan made it a Swiftune 1-2-3 in the opening race of the season for the Miglia's. The Swiftune powered S-Class Mini's of Matt Ayers, Frazer Hack and Jonathon Page produced another Swiftune 1-2-3. Mike Jordan took the win in the Se7ens and Joe Thompson came home in third; a virtually perfect start to the season.
Race 2
The success continued on Sunday with Andrew Jordan (Miglia) and Matt Ayers (S-Class) claiming the top spot in their respective classes. Mike Jordan stepped onto the Mini Se7en podium in second and Jonathon Page secured third in the S-Class.
Fastest Laps were awarded to Jonathon Page (new GP Circuit S-Class record), Andrew Jordan and Matt Ayers.
Rounds 3 & 4 take place at Donington Park on 15-16th April.
