Swiftune FP Alternator Kit

Introducing the New Swiftune Alternator with Floating Pulley technology. Continuing our long running partnership with Powerlite, we have created an Alternator kit including a new revolutionary “floating pulley” system, exclusive to Swiftune. The alternator itself has proven to be incredibly reliable over the last two racing seasons with very little to zero failure. We have now continued our developments with Powerlite and have created a unique pulley system to partner the lightweight alternator described as a ‘floating’ pulley. The concept of this was to eliminate the possibility of the fan belt coming off in an over rev/miss-gear situation. The floating pulley self centralizes in situations when the fan belt can see excessive whip. We have used this new system in race situations through the latter half of the 2020 season proving to be very successful in safeguarding the engine in over-rev situations. The pulley now comes standard in our alternator kit with brackets to suit A Series (non A+) engine. The loss of a fan belt can destroy your race engine if not noticed in the heat of the battle! This new package goes a long way in eliminating that from happening! This unit has a maximum output rating of 40amps. Manufactured by Powerlite, Exclusively for Swiftune.
