Swiftune Sprint supported by SU Carburetters

Goodwood Motor Circuit - Saturday 1st November

Mini Only Sprint at Goodwood Motor Circuit

We are very excited to introduce the Swiftune Sprint – a Mini only sprint event for Pre-66 FIA Mini’s at Goodwood Motor Circuit on Saturday 1st November.

As Swiftune celebrates its 60th year we wanted to do something that commemorates the wonderful 6 decades that we have been powering, building and racing the little Mini and there is not better location than the iconic Goodwood motor circuit, which has seen some of our top successes in Swiftune’s Mini racing history.

This unique event is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the Goodwood circuit in your Mini, competing in timed runs throughout the day. The Swiftune Sprint is open to FIA Pre-66 Mini’s with HTP papers (and Mini derivatives based on Appendix K. spec), with the goal of gathering the largest grid since the Betty Richmond Trophy in 2019. 60 Mini’s on our 60th Birthday!

We are thrilled to be supported by SU Carburettors for the Swiftune Sprint. We have been using and abusing SU Carburettors from day one, so it makes perfect sense to keep that tradition rolling at this event, in our 60th year.

Celebrate the end of season and our big birthday at this fun and ultra-competitive event. With drivers being split by fractions of a tenth of a second, who will be the fastest on the day?

Everything you need to know

What is a sprint?

If you are unfamiliar with Goodwood Sprints, the concept is simply a single lap around the track against the clock. Starting from
the pit lane and ending at the exit of the chicane with a hard stop, you will get 1 practice and 3 timed laps around the circuit, with
your best time counting as the final result. There is of course the option to share a car (maximum 2 drivers per car), a driver
is required to carry a full Race licence when driving a
race car in a sprint.

What cars can enter?

Currently the Swiftune Sprint is open to pre-66 FIA Race Mini’s (and derivatives based on App.K Specs), however should space
be available we will be able to open it up to other race and road Mini’s in an invitation class, at a later date.

Can I share a car?

A maximum of two drivers are permitted to share one vehicle. However, each driver must complete an entry form and
pay the entry fee.

What is the entry fee?

The entry fee for the Swiftune Sprint is £220 (inc VAT) per driver.
